A TOP role awaits the headteacher of a Burton-in-Kendal school.
Sue Woodburn, of Burton Morewood C of E School, is one of 137 headteachers to be appointed to the role of National Leader of Education (NLE) in the latest recruitment round.
She will provide additional leadership and support for schools in challenging circumstances.
"I am so fortunate to have a highly skilled and professional staff and we hope we can work with other schools for the benefit of all the children in our area," she said.
