SWATHES of ceramic golden daffodils brightening up Barrow Sixth Form College will be sold to raise money for a cancer charity.
They were designed by Year 11 students from local schools.
Head of Art and Design Nikki Conigliaro said: "Daffodils were the perfect choice for Spring, although they were more tricky to create.
βThe school students did really well, there was a lovely atmosphere at the event and they produced some stunning flowers β there is real artistic flair out there.β
After Easter the flowers will be sold to raise money for the Marie Curie Daffodil Appeal.
