VALUABLE work experience has been granted to five young people who are currently not in education, employment or training (NEET).
Siemens Subsea has teamed-up with Kendal College to help support the young people and help find them employment.
The students will work alongside experienced engineers to gain employability skills having already spent between six and 24 weeks gaining further experience at Kendal College.
According to Wayne Singleton, Head of Training and Learning at Siemens Subsea, Ulverston, the NEET programme is an 'invaluable experience' and a 'great opportunity' for the students.
