PUPILS at Giggleswick Junior School were excited to receive the royal seal of approval from Her Majesty The Queen.
Children celebrated HRH Queen Elizabeth II's birthday during the summer term by looking back at 90 years and the important milestones in her and her family’s life.
And now they have received a thank you card from the monarch for their efforts.
Head of early years Julie Middleton said: "We are all absolutely delighted to receive a letter from Her Majesty thanking us for our kind words and best wishes on the occasion of her 90th birthday.
"Children have taken part in a number of special activities, including crown making, painting portraits and birthday card making."
