Kirkbie Kendal pupil wins place at National Youth Theatre

KIRKBIE Kendal School pupil Jack Pound has won a coveted place to study at the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.
Jack has played leading roles in many of the school’s productions and secured one of 500 places from 4,600 applications.
He said: “I am very excited but I need to keep my feet on the ground and concentrate on getting top grades in my GCSE exams.”
Jack will become an NYT member after he completes a ten-day acting course in London this summer.
