PUPILS from Queen Katherine School, Kendal, raised £1,700 for Scope by taking bags of food to school.
Youngsters from Years seven, eight, nine and ten were involved in the fund-raiser which saw the items sold in the Kendal Scope shop, which supports children and adults with learning disabilities.
Any local group or business which wants to support the charity can find out more from Toni on 01539 736110 or call in at the Highgate store.
