WACKY outfits, cake baking and sponsored walks helped pupils at Queen Katherine School in Kendal achieve one of their best school terms so far for charity fund-raising.
Year 11 pupils at the school £860 for a range of national and local charities including the NSPCC and mountain rescue organisations – and earned a chocolate treat from teachers for their efforts.
