NORTH West Auction's 50th anniversary sale Lancaster saw a catalogued entry of 345 cattle. Trade for all cattle remained strong, with a ring side of buyers for all classes. Well grown cattle carrying flesh were most sort after, with a pair of 22-month Limousin bullocks from DE & SM Moorhouse, Natland, winning top prize and realising £1,430.
