Help home horses appeal
THE RSPCA says from 2012 to 2014 it received 1,144 calls from the public in Cumbria about abandoned or injured horses and ponies.
The charity, which claims the country is 'in the grip of a horse crisis', received 69,410 equine calls in England over the three years It is now launching a nationwide appeal to find homes for rescued horses, ponies and donkeys.
