DEMAND for British wool will continue to be strong throughout the 2015 season, according to the British Wool Marketing Board chief executive Ian Hartley.
Chief executive Ian Hartley said overall payments to producers would be at similar levels to the 2014 season, with slight increases within specific types and breeds.
“Following this strong performance over the last 12 months, and with minimal stock carry-over into the new season, the outlook is positive heading into the 2015 season, with demand for all types of wool strong in both the domestic and overseas markets," said Mr Hartley.
