A SALE of farm machinery and equipment by North West Auctions has followed the retirement from the industry of George and James Huddleston, of Borrans Farm, Gressingham.
A wide selection of items attracted buyers to the on-farm sale from throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The sale commenced with workshop tools and items containing a wide array of lots ranging from nails, nuts, bolts to milking units and chainsaws.
The larger items attracted the keenest interest with a Claas Celtis 456 4ED Tractor c/w loader selling at a final bid of £17,400, a John Deere 3350 4WD £7,300 and a MF135 £2,150.
Grassland Machinery sold to £8,400 for a Claas Round Baler, £5,600 McHale Wrapper and £3,350 for a Kuhn Tedder.
A North West Auctions spokesman said: "We would like to wish George and James all the best on their retirement."
