MORECAMBE Bay Partnership and Lancashire Marine Conservation Society are running a special event showcasing some of the extraordinary marine life found around Morecambe Bay to celebrate World Environment Day tomorrow (Friday).
There is an opportunity for people explore the underwater world of the Bay at Heysham Village with a talk and guided exploration of local marine and beach life led by experts from Lancashire Marine Conservation Society.
The afternoon programme will include the chance to look at samples of plankton through the microscope, an illustrated talk entitled ‘Morecambe Bay Underwater Safari' and a beach walk and exploration at Half Moon Bay.
