On Monday, January 4, Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of 42 OTM Cattle, Prime Cattle, and Store Cattle, with a catalogued entry of 242 store cattle forward.

A reduced entry of cast cows saw a larger proportion of well-fleshed cattle through the ring. With 16 buyers present trade was better than expected and more could have easily sold.

All classes would be proven to be 10p/kg sharper than previous weeks.
