POLICE are investigating an incident at Furness General Hospital after two women were injured.
Officers were called to ward 7 at the site at 8.46am yesterday (Monday).
A woman, from Ulverston, suffered minor injuries which did not require treatment, and the second woman, from Barrow received what police described as a "puncture wound" to her arm from a piece of glass.
A 42-year-old man, from Barrow, was arrested on suspicion of wounding and criminal damage. He was interviewed by police and released on police bail.
