MORE than 1,100 people have signed the Westmorland Gazette petition to bring radiotherapy treatment to Kendal.

Completed signature slips are coming into the Westmorland Gazette head office in Kendal thick and fast every day and more people are filling in the form online.

Readers are helping to put pressure on the Cumbria and Lancashire NHS Collaborative Commissioning Board to commit to multi-million pound radiotherapy services in Kendal.

Click on the link below to add your signature to the Shorter Journeys Longer Lives campaign for new services at Westmorland General Hospital, in Kendal.

Signatures will illustrate the strength of public support for a treatment base and urge the decision-making group to fund it.
