Blue Peter star backs Gift of Life campaign

Blue Peter presenter and former Eden girl Helen Skelton, left, is backing The Westmorland Gazette’s Gift of Life campaign.
Miss Skelton, 26, who is from Kirkby Thore and attended Appleby Grammar School, has urged as many people in Cumbria as possible to sign up to the organ donor register. She said: “I am lending my support to The Westmorland Gazette’s Gift of Life Campaign.
“Deciding to carry an organ donor card is a difficult but selfless decision. Carrying the card could keep a partner, a son, a grandaughter or a mother alive.”
