A NEW bus was launched in memory of a volunteer who worked for Dial-A-Ride and who died recently.
Chairman of Dial-A-Ride Wendy Mallinson, chairman of Wycombe District Council Cllr David Cox, and manager of Dial-A-Ride Cllr Paul Lambourne, joined Heather Stammers, the widow of Richard Stammers, who worked for the organisation for several years, when they launched a bus in his memory.
The ceremony took place on Monday morning at the council offices in Queen Victoria Road, High Wycombe.
Miss Mallinson said: "This new bus will help Dial-A-Ride continue to provide the high quality of service that our almost 450 members have grown to expect.
"This smaller, more economical bus, will be ideal."
