Head of Christian Aid to visit Kirkby Lonsdale

THE director of Christian Aid, Daleep Mukarji, will visit Kirkby Lonsdale as the town celebrates Christian Aid Week between May 11 and 17. Dr Mukarji will be the guest speaker at a supper event in the Methodist Church Rooms from 7pm on May 16. During the week supporters of the cause, which fights against poverty and oppression around the world, will be delivering donation envelopes through the doors of every house in the town.
