Museum buys memories of Bentham

A fascinating collection of books and archives about communities including Bentham has been bought by a local museum thanks to a Heritage Lottery Fund grant of £49,400.

Legion to host tea party

BBC correspondent Sir Charles Wheeler has died aged 85

Sir Charles Wheeler, one of the BBC's longest-serving and most popular foreign correspondents, has died, the corporation announced. He was 85.
