The town of Kirkby Lonsdale was introduced to its two new district council representatives tonight (Wednesday) following last Thursday's elections.
Conservative Kevin Lancaster continues to represent the Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale ward however Conservative Rodger Read lost his seat when voters went to the polls on May 1. Coun Lancaster was joined at Kikrby Lonsdale Town Council's May meeting by Liberal Democrats Ian McPherson and Peter Woof. All three pledged to do their best for the town, despite all of them hailing from the Sedbergh end of the ward.
