AN appeal has been launched to find a North Lancashire woman who has been missing for four days.
Married mother of two Emma Rudkin was last seen by her 14-year old daughter at her home address on Nether Kellet, Carnforth, at about 5pm on Wednesday.
She left in the family's blue Ford Galaxy, registration R39O HTW, but her family and friends have not heard from her since.
She is described as white, 5ft 6" tall, of medium build with a tanned complexion.
She has dark brown shoulder length hair which is currently highlighted. It is not known what clothing she is wearing.
Inspector Dave Forshaw said: "Emma has never been missing from home before and her disappearance is completely out of character. We are concerned about her welfare.
"I would ask anyone who may have come into contact with Emma in the past few days, anyone who has seen her car, or knows of her whereabouts to get in touch with police."
Police say Mrs Rudkin has access to money so it is possible she could be staying in a hotel.
Anyone with information as to Emma's whereabouts should contact Lancashire Police on 08451 253545.
