Nether Kellet Parish Council members look at waste sites exhibition

RESIDENTS have received letters of invitations to an exhibition at Morecambe Library regarding mineral and waste sites.

This was attended by members of Nether Kellet Parish Council, who will report back to the March meeting.

They were advised of 24 hour working on waste recycling at Leapers Wood Quarry, which has already received planning consent, and of a proposal to take out Longdales Road between the two halves of Dunald Mill Quarry, so that limestone on which the road stands can be worked.
