Work starts on north Lancashire business park

CONSTRUCTION work has started on a long awaited 22-acre multi-million pound business park near Carnforth.
The high-profile site on Kellet Road fronts on to the M6 by Junction 35 and has been earmarked for development for a number of years.
Strong Developments have given the go ahead for the first phase on 10 acres, bringing four new businesses to the area.
The largest occupier will be Havwoods Floorings, which will occupy a new distribution warehouse and offices.
Simon Whiley at Havwoods said: “We have been looking to relocate to the Carnforth area for the last five years.
“This site provides the ideal opportunity for our business to expand.”
