Hornby goes out on a high

A LANCASHIRE school has gone out on a high, as students celebrate some of its best ever GSCE results.
Hornby school, which was officially closed last week due to insufficient pupil numbers, saw 38 per cent of students achieve five A to C passes, an increase from 17 per cent last year.
