Morecambe and Lunesdale MP David Morris has toured the new M6 link road being constructed between Lancaster and Heysham.
Mr Morris met Anthony Crowley from civil engineering firm Costain to tour the newly-named Bay Gateway. He visited to view the progress on the project and to see for himself how quickly peoplewill be able to travel from the M6 into the heart of his constituency.

Mr Morris said: "It was fascinating to drive down the route with Antony and see the scale of the work which has now been carried out.
"I think it is easy to be complacent about securing the money for a project such as that but touring the site and seeing the impact it will have on everyone in the area when it is open really puts into perspective how vital securing that investment was to the future of our area."
