GROWTH is being constrained at a high-tech South Lakeland firm because of a chronic shortage of business sites and premises in the area.
Software development agency Motive Technology is involved in a range of cutting edge IT projects locally, nationally and internationally.
The Kendal firm has been doubling in size annually for some time and, in addition to its head office at the town's Murley Moss Business Village, it has also taken space at Sand Aire House.
And with the rate of expansion showing no signs of slowing, Motive Technology has outgrown its present base and is in need of larger premises.
Managing director Andy Derrick said ideally the business needed somewhere twice as large, capable of housing up to 80 staff.
