Storage space plea from South Lakes foodbank
A STORAGE space for the Milnthorpe area foodbank is urgently required.
Christians together in Milnthorpe and Heversham have been running a food bank in the town’s Memorial Hall since October 2013.
But its current food storage space is to be lost very shortly due to renovation of the hall and it being put to a different use.

“A small room where we could put up a few shelves and have access for packing food deliveries would be ideal,” said foodbank co-ordinator Margaret Barrow.
“It needs to be dry and have easy access. There are about 15 boxes of different types of food to store.”
