RESIDENTS of Kendal’s Kirkbie Green have asked Cumbria County Council to add their road to its gritting regime.
They claim that although council gritters regularly grit the entrance to the cul-de-sac, it never covers the full development, which has 40 properties mostly occupied by elderly residents who are left ‘housebound’.
The county council is looking into the matter.
