MR JESSOP, head teacher of Crosthwaite School, thanked parents and friends for attending the short Remem-brance Service held at school, which was the culmination of the children’s project on World War One.
Three pupils paid tribute to those from Crosthwaite who lost their lives in the conflict, and their names were read out.
The service ended with lunch in the school yard.
