Haverthwaite war memorial cleaned for service
VOLUNTEERS worked hard to clean the war memorial at Haverthwaite in preparation for the British Legion Service of Remembrance and Rededication at St Anne’s Church Haverthwaite on Monday, August 4 (6.30pm).
This will be a service for local people to remember the fallen of World War I and to rededicate the memorial.
The church will be open all day for private prayer, peace and reflection.
