DIGITAL information screens have been installed at Bentham railway station.
It is one of the final stations to be included in the DIS upgrade, with digital screens on each platform.
The new screens provide customers with real-time train running information, as well as the latest BBC News headlines, digital advertisements and even the local weather forecast.

Alex Hynes, managing director of Northern Rail, said: "We have invested £300,000 in fitting innovative technology at our stations in the North to help provide our customers with the latest in real-time information.
"These screens will help us communicate with our customers in a real-time way which just hasn't been available to us before. Details of engineering work or possible disruption can be pushed digitally with a click of a button, removing the time and expense of producing, printing and delivering hard copy posters."
Tony Paulden, chief operating officer for supplier Saturn Communications, added: "The desire to deliver the highest levels of customer engagement, communication and service are core values we share and hope to build upon in years to come."
