Sheep rescued from Dales rift
RESCUERS went to the aid of a sheep stuck in a four-feet deep rift near Turbary Road, Kingsdale.
The alarm was raised by a caver.
Members of the Clapham-based Cave Rescue Organisation used tools to remove a small amount of rock to improve access and were able to release the sheep and bring it to the surface.

"The sheep was able to rejoin the flock, none the worse for its experience," said a CRO spokesman.
