MEMBERS of Low Bentham WI met at the Victoria Hall, where speaker Peter Marshall gave an illustrated talk on Five Intrepid Ladies.
In 1830 the ladies, in skirts. walked in Chamonix, France, Zermatt in Switzerland and climbed Mont Blanc and other such climbs in the Alps.
