New Bentham primary school meeting delayed

A MEETING due to be held on Monday to discuss plans for a new primary school in Bentham has been put back a week.

Bentham Town Council will now hold the special meeting on Monday December 20 at 7.30pm in Bentham Town Hall.

Members will discuss the recently lodged application for the new primary school to serve both Low and High Bentham from a site at Low Bentham Road.

The application has been lodged by North Yorkshire County Council and includes a change of use of land currently in agricultural use to provide ancillary sports facilities and the formation of a new vehicular and pedestrian access
