Clapham school enjoy animation workshop

JUNIOR children from Clapham School joined with pupils from Horton to travel to Ripon for an animation workshop.

They had the opportunity to explore Ripon cathedral, where Lewis Car-roll’s father was a Canon at the cathedral and Lewis was a frequent visitor.

A CHARITY whist drive was held at the village hall. Prizewinners were, ladies: M. Wright, M. Middleton, E. Moore and L. Wilkinson. Gents: M. J. Davies, S. Hogg, D. Pullan and V. Jones. The next whist drive will be tomorrow (Friday) at the village hall at 7.30pm.
