By Steven Bell, Reporter
THE Cave Rescue Organisation at Clapham was called to help two elderly walkers in separate incidents in the Dales today.
At around 12.35pm, members assisted a 76-year-old woman at the Norber Erratics, Austwick, after she suffered an angina attack.
After treatment from paramedics, the CRO crew brought her down from the fell to a waiting ambulance.
Half an hour later, the team received a report that a 74-year-old man had suffered a heart attack above the Pecca Waterfalls at Ingleton.
The man was treated by paramedics before the CRO took him off the hill in a team vehicle to a waiting ambulance in Ingleton.
An air ambulance attended both incidents but was not used.
