Teen will swim Windermere for Giggleswick School

A 17-year-old from Hawkshead is swimming Windermere on Sunday to raise money for his school.
Oliver Merrick hopes to raise around £3,000 for a new arts block at Giggleswick School.
The money will be added to a donation from the late Countdown presenter Richard Whitley, who is a former pupil of Giggleswick.
Oliver, who has been training all summer for the feat, will take around 7 hours to swim the Lake from Fellfoot to Amblesdide.
