I FIND it disgusting that our elected councillors, while making cutbacks everywhere are not prepared and voted against cutting their own numbers from 66 by just one-third to 44 and save Wirral council tax payers over £300,00 per year.
I ask our current 66 councillors 'if you are not prepared to cut your numbers, then at least during these tough times for everyone, then at least represent the public of Wirral for free'.
As a candidate for the UK Independence Party (UKIP) in next year's local elections, if elected during these very hard times, I would not take any expenses for the privilege and honour of representing the people of my ward and Wirral.
Are there any of our current councillors prepared to represent their wards solely for the honour or are they just doing it for what they can get out of the Wirral people?
