LETTER: Alternative for the shore at Bowness
I read with interest your report about plans for The Glebe and lake shore at Bowness (Gazette, August 13, ‘Shore revamp wins support’).
I do hope these plans do not include grassing over the shore as it will look the same as it does now in now time at all thanks to the voracious appetites and incredible poo-ing abilities of Canada Geese.
May I suggest Astroturf as an alternative?
