As the secretary of the Civilian Committee of 1127 (Kendal) Air Training Corps I, too, was very proud to read the letter 'Flying high' by Brian Cottam on March 3.
It has been a pleasure and a delight to meet both Mr Cottam and Mr Crossley and welcome them in the midst of our events with current Air Cadets and Staff and on that note in this our 75th Anniversary year, we would very much like to encourage any former Cadets or Staff of the Squadron to contact us.
As our headquarters were affected by Storm Desmond and many items lost, including our recently acquired minibus (that only got nine months' usage and we are working hard to replace), we are keen to ensure that 1127(Kendal) Squadron continues to thrive and we don't lose the history of the Squadron.
We would very much like to hear about your memories and experiences while you were involved with the Squadron and would love to share those stories and photos.
Please contact us by emailing 1127@aircadets.org
