On Sunday, April 23, St. George’s Day, the Rotary Club of Kendal is organising the Kendal Community Walk.
This will give groups in the area a chance to raise sponsorship for their own funds, individuals or families an opportunity to donate to their own charity or good cause, or for ramblers just to have a pleasant stroll.
The walk will start at Kirkbie Kendal School from between 1pm and 2pm. The longest of the three routes will be to Sedgwick and back along the old canal path and footpaths.
Any surplus funds after expenses will be shared with the Hospice Angels fund. Please have a look at our website on kendalcommunitywalk.uk.
Thanks to the generosity of Kendal Town Council all walkers will receive a commemorative medal.
