THE Westmorland Football League produced plenty of action on another busy Saturday afternoon across all three divisions.

Keswick moved five points clear at the top of Westmorland League Division One after a hard fought 3-1 win at Windermere.

Endmoor KGR completed a remarkable comeback after seeing off Ambleside United 4-2. Ambleside were 2-1 up with five minutes left on the clock. However newly promoted KGR battled back thanks to goals by Shane Lambert,Ryan Carradus,Bradley Thompson and Sam Daws. The result sees Graham Sills team move up to second in the table.

In the other games Ibis routed Wetheriggs United 5-1 at The Jubilee Playing Fields, Darren Nightingale scored a brace, while Tim Blamire, Cory Robinson and Chris Ellwood were also on target.

Niall Renwick scored four goals after Kirkoswald defeated Sedbergh Wanderers 5-3. J Stout was also a goal scorer as Kirkoswald moved up to sixth place in the table. Sedbergh played their part in an entertaining encounter after Andrew Burrow scored twice, before Liam Mason found the net.

Kendal County Reserve picked up a hard fought 5-3 win at bottom of the table Shap. Pete Carradus, Luke Nicholson,George Key and Cameron Neil with the all important goals as Kendal moved up to eighth in the table.

In Westmorland League Division Two, AFC Carlisle edged out Greystoke 2-1, Damian Dixon and Wayne Jackson with the goals for Carlisle who picked up their first win of the season.

Carleton Banks remained on top of Division Two after an emphatic 6-0 win at Appleby Reserve, Jake Briggs scored twice in the rout.

Keswick moved into second place following a 2-1 win against an inform Dent side. Jack Miller opened the scoring before Dave Gaskell sealed the win.

Ryan Gates hat-trick and goals by Charlie Forster, Brad Shearer and Jamie Street eased Castletown United to a comfortable 6-2 win against Windermere Reserve.

Eden Thistle routed Kendal United Reserve 6-0, while Braithwaite and Staveley United battled out a 2-2 draw.

Ibis Reserve continued their good form at the top of Division Three after a 2-1 win against Sedbergh Wanderers Reserves. Brodie Nicholson and Dan Postlethwaite on target.

Burneside won 5-2 at Langwathby United, Brandon Maddison's hat-trick eased Penrith Academy to a 4-2 victory over Penrith Town.

In the final game Kirkoswald Reserve defeated Penrith Saints 3-1, Ollie Allan, Jack Lloyd and Adam Lands with the goals as Kirkoswald moved up to third in the table.
