I WOULD like to thank the very kind people of Kendal, who helped me when - as an insulin-dependent diabetic -I suffered a very low blood sugar, was disorientated and not walking straight!
A lovely couple sat me down by a cafe, close to Marks and Spencer's. The gentleman 'phoned for an ambulance and I tried to tell him where my husband was parked.
His wife stayed with me and a lady from the café kept popping out to see if I was OK.
That was all I saw of them, so was unable to thank them personally. After that I lost consciousness and the next thing I remember is coming round in the ambulance, with three great paramedics treating me. They, also, were so very helpful.
After all the kindness shown to me, I have very positive impressions of the people of Kendal.
