Well what a difference a week makes, from getting hammered 5-1 by Skelmersdale one week and everyone pretty miserable, to the joy and jubilation of a 4-1 mauling of Hednesford Town on Saturday.

Ashy has to take alot of credit for the team's response, he managed to get Tony Hallam back in the side after previously leaving the club, and he played Geroge Melling in the centre of midfield with the aim of protecting the back 4 and the keeper.

That plus Tom Bush put in a good display in the absence of David Newnes.

Man of the match was Alex Taylor, scoring 2, and constantly a terror in the Hednesford back line.

Kendal were well and truly back to their best, closing Hednesford down and making life very hard for them just like they played at the start of the season.

Town will be looking to take that form into the Tuesday night match against Leigh Genesis, a match which is being played at Ashton United's Hurst Cross Stadium.

It's a big week for the team, they have that blockbusting FC United Match at Parkside Road this Saturday as well.

So it's a mammoth week for the team where 2 wins would push them right back into the play off positions.
