You could see the confidence seeping back into the squad again, and more evidence of that came after a comfortable 3-0 home win over Boston on Saturday.

The return of Dave Foster and Warren Beattie has certainly injected the confidence back into the side. Saturdays result was impressive against a team that are in the bottom 3 but don't tend to concede that many.

I suppose Boston will be looking at the missed opportunities that they had, however Town deserved to win especially in that 2nd half.

Alex Taylor is getting better and better week in and week out, scoring 2 goals on Saturday was a further sign that he is in red hot form right now.

So overall in what were tricky weather conditions, Town impressed and continue their charge for the play offs.

This week they are home to Leigh on Tuesday night, then away to Guiesley at the weekend in what is a massive match as both teams are so close together in and around the play off area. A defeat for one of the teams could prove costly come the end of the season.

In the meantime Town have to deal with the midweek home match with bottom side Leigh Genesis. A match on paper Town should win, however despite the oppositions losing run, they are a very young side and i would imagine they will be up for the challenge!.

For Kendal they just have to keep it going and hopefully they wil make it 3 straight wins on Tuesday night. But with Leigh fighting for their lives Town will have to play to that level and above if they are to win!
