IT’S all go at the moment!

We’ve had one of those weeks where we’ve got it all planned out and you know what will happen but everything seems to work against you.

First off, the load-all decided to brake down, and when you rely on it to do everything around the yard it is bad news when it breaks down! By the way, thanks dad for the shiny new muck fork.

Then the other morning, we had a police women land in the yard to see if I would go and catch some stray sheep which had been roaming round Ulverston for the last week. I agreed to go but, as usual, it wasn’t quite as simple as it sounded.

The sheep seemed quite happy wandering around the health centre on the lawn but as soon as they saw the dog it was a different story!

It ended up with me running round Ulverston in wellies and boiler suit on hot pursuit with two police cars following with light and sirens.

It was quite a sight to see at the time and I will probably look back one day and laugh about it.

I have also had a day out. I went to Sainsbury’s Feeding for the Future conference, which I must report was extremely positive and the supermarket realises that if we all work together we have a bright future to look forward.
