THE weather is being quite a pain at the moment.
We are desperately trying to get our grass seeds in before I go on holiday next week but we really need three fine days to get the seeds in.
One of the fields we ploughed brought up a lot of stone. We got seven 12-ton dump trailer loads of stone out of one field.
As we keep working the field up to get it level, more and more stone keeps appearing so the stone heap is growing at a very fast rate.
We have also been on with replacing some water pipes which had seen better days. These supply water to the cow water troughs in the fields.
I have also sprained my sheep and lambs this week and hopefully we will have some more fat lambs to sell in a week or so, which is needed to pay for the holiday.
Hopefully our third cut will be ready in another week.
