Kendal Squash Club held its annual Christmas doubles competition on Friday night.
The tournament featured six teams in a format where the partnerships with the most wins would be crowned the winners.
MORE TOP STORIES:
Pauline Nicholson and Sam Norman won the competition after both remained undefeated throughout the night, while Mark Jackson and Shane Holliday were the runners up after they lost just one of their games played.
The partnership of Ian Garnett and Tony Hauxwell claimed third place as they lost just two of their encounters.
Plenty of the games were close with some going to tie breakers, the other teams involved on the night were Russell Lillebridge and Tim Riley, while Richard Ringer and Peter Atkinson also competed on a fun night of action.
Kendal's B and C teams return to league action on Tuesday 10 January, with the Bs away to Penrith while the Cs host Penrith's C team.
