Netherfield Cricket Club will be holding four free training sessions for boys and girls aged between 7 and 11.
The sessions start on Tuesday 27 February at Kendal Leisure Centre between 5 and 6.30pm.
Each session will be led by ECB trained coaches, while equipment will be supplied by the club.
In addition to the junior training, Netherfield will be running an all stars cricket programme, this will be on a Friday night with the date to be confirmed.
Netherfield Junior Cricket Club will be holding further events to raise money for the clubs successful Junior set up.
In addition to these events, the club recently made a donation of £500 to Cancer Care's Blackhall Road unit, the proceeds were raised from last summer’s successful Ladies Day. Netherfield will be holding another Ladies Day on Saturday 11 August when the First Team host Morecambe.
