We have nothing but praise for the staff and care received recently at the Westmorland General Hospital at Kendal.
While on holiday in the area, we found ourselves in an emergency situation and drove to the minor injuries unit at the Kendal hospital. From the moment we stepped in the door, we received prompt and efficient help.
Our three-hour visit on Wednesday, October 29 was distressing in that we were on holiday and were due to return to Bath the following day but the staff were so professional and caring in all their actions - we can never thank them enough.
Such notable health services are few and far between and we trust the Kendal hospital will be given the help to continue in its essential work for many years to come.
